Most HR technology has moved to cloud/SaaS solutions. The days of heavily customised technology solutions built around your company’s processes have gone – the speed of implementation and the robustness of the solution come from “out of the box” implementations

This does not mean there are no choices and how you configure and the complexity you build into your workflows will determine both the long term viability of your solution and the ongoing maintenance required

Most HR technology has been developed by Subject Matter Experts in their field – HRIS, Service Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward with a focus on “best practice”. As you build out the solution for your organisation you need to consider the culture of your organisation, the employee experience you are looking to build, and the capability of your managers. All of these are important for determining the solution you design

These can all be worked through with the vendor and an implementation partner but it is worthwhile for you as a customer to have an understanding of what your organisation needs and what it can sustain
