Choosing correctly

Once a decision has been made to make changes there are many choices that lie ahead – Which system? Which partner? Who will manage the Project? How do we continue to build for the future? How will this impact  people?

Getting one or all of these wrong could drastically impact your outcomes

Partner evaluation that understands both your current requirements and future expectations; aligns with your business support model and roadmap and and provides value for the investment made. What experience do they bring? What other projects are they delivering? Will their resources be onshore/offshore/combined? Are they providing additional tools – change, training, data migration etc

Project management is also critical. Is there an internal resource that has the capability? Do they understand the business issues to be addressed? The software solution you are implementing? The requirements of the solution and the integrations? Sometimes it is worthwhile obtaining external resources to deliver a project who have specialist expertise in the areas you are tackling
